The Grueling Trial Donald Trump Facing

Donald Trump is becoming like the main character in Albert Camus’ The Stranger; a man convicted of murder because he did not cry at his mother’s funeral. The trial started last year when Donald Trump made statements about Mexican immigrants. Then Donald Trump would propose the building of a wall on the Mexican border. Then came Donald Trump’s disparaging remarks about Senator John McCain. This was followed by Donald Trumpmocking a disabled reporter. Then came Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States. Now, Donald Trump is taking flak for retaliating against the Gold Star parents of a soldier killed in  Afghanistan.

The above drama has been mixed in with allegations at the Democratic National Convention that Trump University was a fraud, that Donald Trump did not treat contractors fairly and that there are numerous lawsuits against Donald Trump. With all that said, the Democratic Party and the media have found a good friend in Donald Trump. The media is selling papers and raking in viewers. The Democratic Party has an easy target in a novice for political office who speaks his mind. Shame on the media and shame on the Democratic Party.

Hillary Clinton appears to be a wonderful caring competent person except that she is going to pursue the Democratic Party’s agenda. The Democratic Party wants to raise the minimum wage to fifteen dollars an hour. Sound’s great, but what does this mean for small business? This means that you will have to be a millionaire to start a small business. What does this mean to the consumer? This means that you will be eating corporate processed food instead of mom and pop gourmet. What does this mean to the unskilled worker? This means that you will be out of work unless some big corporation has a job opening paying fifteen dollars an hour. The era of small business will be gone with the wind and so will all those jobs.
