They discussed how Curt got started rescuing big cats and how in-kind donations from Jacksonville business owners have been the backbone of his Sanctuary from the start. Curt has been working with exotic big cats since 1986. Curt maintains state and federal licenses to care for and handle, when needed, all of the exotic animals in care at The Catty Shack Ranch including black bears, bobcats, caracals, coatimundi, cougars, foxes, lions, tigers and servals.
Curt shared how our community’s support keeps our animals healthy and happy. Jacksonville businesses donate fresh meat and fish, building supplies, equipment, time and talent.
