INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed David Kappos.

Kevin Price visited with David Kappos who joined the nationally syndicated Price of Business show to discuss the FTC’s recent proposal to ban non-compete clauses. Though well intended, the outright ban of non-compete clauses in America would allow employees in highly-specialized sectors, from aerospace to defense, to defect to direct competitors — and possibly share valuable trade secrets in the process. Dave will discuss how in doing so, the FTC proposal could undermine decades of research from these high-tech industries, stunt the development of next-generation inventions, and suppress economic growth.
Kappos serves as board co-chair of the Council for Innovation Promotion (C4IP), a bipartisan coalition dedicated to promoting strong and effective intellectual property rights. He previously served as undersecretary of commerce for intellectual property and director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office from 2009 to 2013.
