Core Scientific Focus: The documentary highlights Professor Nolan’s 20-year scientific research in Waterford, Ireland, centered on brain and eye nutrition—specifically focusing on key carotenoids like lutein, zeaxanthin, and meso-zeaxanthin extracted from sources such as marigolds.
Health and Performance Impact: The research emphasizes a transition from reactive healthcare to preventive care, demonstrating how targeted nutritional supplements protect eye health, help prevent macular degeneration and potentially Alzheimer’s disease, and improve focus, vision duration, and performance in elite athletes, e-gamers, and shooters.
Commercialization and Distribution: The research has been successfully commercialized through the US organization MacuHealth, and the documentary is expanding globally with releases on streaming platforms like Amazon and Apple TV, alongside a special online screening event on October 29.
