Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business show, recently interviewed former Cong. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) about the effort to build a wall between Mexico and the US without a single US dollar involved. He was on the show on behalf of We Build the Wall.
Kevin Price, has long been concerned about the taxpayer funded wall — with a $22 trillion debt, it would make more sense to fully enforce existing law (which has not been done for years), without building an expensive wall. But what “We Build the Wall” is proposing is significantly different approach that every fiscal hawk can appreciate and every person with libertarian leanings can respect. They are building a wall at a fraction of the cost of the US government, only where people want it on their property, entirely with private dollars. Over time, those who oppose the wall that live on the border, might change their mind when people can no longer to through the routes they are pursuing now.
This is, arguably, the logical “third way” from “Doormat America,” which is the case now and “Fortress America.”
