Heather Sholl is a social entrepreneur who has been taking notes on how the world around us communicates. When it comes to finding factual news these days, she found that it’s not going very well. “People are afraid to communicate about important issues, even with people they trust. We have not only lost the art of communication, we’ve lost the trust in one another to create real connections.” Based on these observations Heather has started a group called WHIP, the Women’s Huddle for an Informed Public. At each meeting a group of diverse women with very different opinions on politics come together to discuss issues. The key? No opinions are allowed.
