Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Christopher Rowland of the Washington Post

On a recent Price of Business, Host Kevin Price visited with Christopher Rowland of the Washington Post where he covers the business of healthcare. They discussed the profound impact the labor shortage is having on families and individuals needing assisted living support at home.

In his most recent article he discussed the plight of Acey and Tom Hofflander… “Their roles had unexpectedly reversed. At 85, Acey is the healthy one, the organized, energetic caregiver for husband, Tom, 88. But when a grueling day of showering, dressing, feeding and transporting him to medical appointments pushed Acey beyond exhaustion in July, she wound up in the emergency room — a health crisis the Hofflanders blame in large part on a lack of professional, in-home care.”
