Aaron focuses his practice on estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration, providing counsel to individuals, families, small businesses, and tax-exempt organizations. Aaron’s view is that the most rewarding aspect of estate planning is the ability to serve personally as a trusted family advisor and thereby counsel clients of all ages and circumstances through important family concerns around things like inheritance, incapacity, and asset protection, often at the most difficult times. Whether a client’s needs are as simple as a will to name guardians for minor children or whether that client needs sophisticated estate tax planning, Aaron is ready to help.
They discussed the Murdoch succession drama, in which Rupert Murdoch, 94, known to everyone as the controlling owner of the massive Fox news and entertainment empire, has been embroiled in a high-stakes court case over control over the empire going forward and especially after Rupert’s death. Beyond the family dynamics involved, with Fox being so important in the news space and having such an effect on public affairs, what happens to Rupert Murdoch’s companies should concern everyone, and we can all learn some things from the situation the Murdoch family is going through.
