INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Cody Willard. Willard is a leading authority on financial markets and a regular guest on the Price of Business.

Kevin Price and Cody Willard had a robust conversation on whether the Lockdown will be a referendum issue for 2020.
They discussed:
* How the lockdown could evolve along partisan lines.
*  Who could be the political winners and losers?
*  Will being pro-lockdown hurt or help during the elections?
Price warns that the vast majority of Americans cannot afford to stay idle.  For them it is an existential crisis.  Over time they will conclude that although it is terrible that tens of thousands have died, many more will pass away if thrown into long term poverty.
After the show Price said, that states that take the most draconian approaches to the lockdown will suffer the most economically.  The long term implications of the lockdown are devastating. It could take decades for states to recover.  The leaders that demanded the most inflexible approaches will face the most harsh political consequences, he argues.  Price said “If it is treated as a party behavior — and we start hearing ‘the Lockdown Party,’ it could be a long ice age for that party.”
“Soon we will see,” Price argues, “that the most draconian approach will be seen as anti-working poor and anti-middle class.  That will be very difficult to recover from.”
