Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Adam Shapiro. Shapiro is an anchor at Yahoo Finance and a regular on the Price of Business.

Price and Shapiro discussed the latter’s recent interview with Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) who is the GOP leader on the House Ways and Means Committee. Brady has also been a guest several times on the Price of Business show.
Among many things discussed they reviewed the merits of Brady’s argument (and that of many other Republicans) that the government is competing against business when it comes to jobs with generous government benefits. Some economists argue it takes a job paying $17 an hour for it to break even for the unemployed to choose to quit getting benefits
