Top experts will discuss the Obama Administration’s Middle East policy and challenges awaiting the next administration.

Over the course of the past seven years, the Obama Administration has dealt and continues to deal with numerous complex challenges in the Middle East, Syria’s civil war being the longest and most challenging. As the regional instability caused by this war and the emergence of ISIS continues to be a major security concern, particularly for NATO Ally and strategic partner Turkey, foreign policy experts warn against deepened geo-political tensions.

The Turkish Heritage Organization will bring together top scholars to examine Obama’s legacy in the Middle East and determine what role should the U.S. under a new administration play in the region that would alleviate the concerns and tensions of its allies and partners.

Moderated by Al Arabiya’s Joyce Karam, these leading practitioners and scholars will explore these issues as America gets ready to elect a new President.

The roundtable discussion will be held on Wednesday, April 6 at 4 pm (EDT) at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
