INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Dan Robinson.

On a recent Price of Business, Host Kevin Price visited attorney Dan Robinson on the real reasons business partnerships crash and burn and how to prevent such from happening.
Before he became an attorney, Dan Robinson pursued two careers. In his first he professionally performed music and spent about five years of his life with a touring rock band that traveled around the U.S. After that, Dan went back to college at Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he earned degrees in music and electrical engineering.
Dan moved to the Bay Area in 1995 and worked for a series of startups as a programmer and later engineering manager. In 1999, he was in charge of managing the engineering team that developed Quicken, which is the same company that developed TurboTax and Quickbooks.
Three years later, in 2002, Dan began developing his own software product that connected health insurance companies to their customers and other individuals. Intuit invested in the idea, calling it Quicken Medical Expense Manager. The product garnered a lot of attention for Dan, who was the subject of various articles published by The Wallstreet Journal, USA Today, and other national publications.
His drive to develop the product was inspired by the difficulties he faced in dealing with the American healthcare system as a father of a child born in 2000 with a disability. Although Dan was asked to remain on the Quicken Medical Expense Manager project, the very ordeal that inspired him to create the project inspired him to pursue a career in law.
Dan graduated from law school summa cum laude and went on to serve as a law clerk on the federal court for the Central District of California.
After 12 years of serving large corporations in their commercial disputes, Dan opened Dan Robinson Law, P.C. to help small business owners litigate their own disputes. Dan is also expanding his practice to include his original drive to pursue a career in law by helping families of children with disabilities to get the education plans their children deserve.
