INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Stevan Popavich.

On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interviewed Stevan Popovich, President of Cycle Gear, a national powersports retailer under the Comoto Family of Brands.

They discussed how the second year of Comoto’s “Airbags Save” campaign is advancing the adoption of wearable airbag technology across the motorcycle industry. With support from Progressive Insurance® and helmet safety leader Mips®, the initiative is helping riders understand the critical importance of gear that goes beyond the basics—specifically, wearable airbags that offer protection comparable to a helmet.

Popovich explained that awareness has been the greatest barrier to adoption, but demonstrations and education have helped demystify the technology. Since the campaign’s launch in 2024, sales of wearable airbag units have surged by over 75%, and that momentum continues to grow in 2025.

The segment also touched on broader shifts in rider behavior, evolving safety expectations, and how Comoto is creating a cultural movement around proactive protection. The discussion highlighted how safety innovation is becoming an entry point for new riders and a badge of pride for seasoned ones.
