INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.
Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Greg Reimer.
On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interviewed Greg Reimer, President & CEO, Surge Battery Metals, (TSX.V:NILI), (OTCQB: NILIF), focused on its flagship project in Nevada North Lithium Project in Elko County, who says, “We are bullish on President Trump’s return as President. His previous administration focused on infrastructure development which benefited the U.S. mining community.”
They discussed Trump as President Elect and the likelihood of his administration’s investment in bridges, ports and roads which make remote mines more accessible and increases the demand for our raw materials including lithium, steel, copper and more.
Reimer predicts lower corporate taxes and capital investment incentives vital to the mining sector will also come into play.
“Trump’s 2024 presidential win favours lower corporate taxes and capital investment incentives which are critical to attracting investment in mining,” says Reimer whose prior experience includes Deputy Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources of Canada’s BC Oil and Gas Commission and Deputy Minister of Provincial Revenue as well as many other posts during a successful career with the BC Government. “Trump’s tax policies in his previous term favoured businesses, with provisions that encouraged capital-intensive sectors, such as mining, to reinvest in operations. A return to these policies could make North American projects more competitive globally.”
