Immigrant to France –“Spiderman” — Rescues a Little Boy, Offered Citizenship

The story captured the imagination of the world. An immigrant from the African country of Mali was walking the streets of Paris and sees a crowd looking him. He looks up too and sees a father holding on dearly to his 4 year old child. Rather than joining the crowd, Mamoudou Gassama leaped into action, climbing the balconies up several stories and rescuing the little boy. In a matter of minutes Gassama became a national hero of France and an international sensation.
He has since met with the President of France who has offered the young man both a citizenship and a job with the Fire Department. Keep an eye out for the movie that, you know, is already in the making.
